Milford’s Roots

Originally the town was called Ballynagalloglagh and has a population of approximately 1000. The town is home to The Colmcille Trail, a lovely 7km walking route which starts in the town and takes you up around Lough Colmcille.

Rathmullan’s Maritime Past

Rathmullan, our coastal village, has a thriving maritime history, once vital for trade and travel. In 1607, it played a pivotal role in the Flight of the Earls, a significant moment in Irish history.

Eucharistic Adoration

All are welcome to come and spend as much time as they wish in Adoration, for there is no limit to the blessings that can be received through this practice. Whether you come for a few minutes or for an entire hour, the time spent in Adoration can be a source of immense spiritual nourishment and renewal. In the presence of the divine, we are able to lay aside our burdens and concerns, and to rest in the love and peace that only God can give.

However, there are those who have committed to fulfill a specific hour each week in Adoration, and we are deeply grateful for their dedication and faithfulness. These adorers are the backbone of our community, and their willingness to give of their time and energy is a testament to their love for God and for their fellow human beings.

Yet, as with any community endeavor, there is always a need for more adorers. We invite anyone who feels called to this sacred practice to consider committing to a specific hour each week. By doing so, you will be joining a community of people who are dedicated to worshiping and praising God, and who are committed to supporting one another on their spiritual journeys.
